Welcome to the database of Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration Projects Completed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This website presents findings and information from a retrospective investigation of ecosystem restoration projects completed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The objective of this website is to document best practices, lessons learned, particularly innovative and successful projects, relevant success metrics, and environmental benefits achieved for the Corps and practitioners nationwide. We have identified 260 Corps restoration projects for inclusion in the database, including projects funded under 8 authorities. Documentation for 217 was of sufficient detail for inclusion in the database. The map shown indicates the location of those projects included in the database along with cost data and authorization for each project.
